The goal of Dr. Fan’s research group is the development of advanced materials and processes for CO2 capture and sustainable chemical processes. In particular, her research relates to fundamental and applied aspects of adsorbent design, membrane-based gas separations, and organic solvent reverse osmosis membrane separation process.
Research interests: mixed matrix membranes, MOFs, carbon molecular sieves, CO2 capture, olefin/paraffin separation, solid amine adsorbents
